Clonakilty

Clonakilty is a seaside town approximately 45 minutes drive west of Cork city. It is well known for its association with all things musical both contemporary and traditional. The Waterfront Festival in August and the Clonakilty International Guitar Festival in mid-September provide some of the musical entertainment. Rathbarry

Rathbarry village is situated on the coast road between the towns of Clonakilty (10km) and Rosscarbery (6km). The nearby Castlefreke Forest Recreation Area provides a large selection of walks as do the many beaches in the surrounding area. Rosscarbery

Rosscarbery is a small picturesque town overlooking a sandy inlet of the West Cork coastline. The town was established around St. Fachtna’s Cathedral in the latter half of the 6th century. There are a wide variety of attractions for all within walking distance of the town including two blue flag beaches (The Warren & Ownahincha).
